Overview
John "Scottie" Ferguson souffre de vertige depuis la disparition de l'un de ses hommes. Impuissant, il n'a pu éviter sa chute mortelle lors d'une poursuite sur les toits de San Francisco. Depuis Scottie culpabilise et déprime, désoeuvré. Son viel ami Gavin Elster l'engage pour suivre sa ravissante épouse aux tendance suicidaires. Scottie bascule alors aux frontière du rêve et du cauchemard morbide. Fascinées par sa blonde proie, il ondule littéralement à travers San Francisco, entrainé dans une spirale de fantasme et de mystère, sa peur du vide cherchant des réponses jusque dans le trouble profond qui déchire Madeleine.
